The Bossiney House Hotel is situated 200 metres from the South West Coast Path for guests to enjoy the dramatic walks to Boscastle, Tintagel, St Nectans Glen, and Trebarwith. The South West Coast Path stretches for 630 miles from Minehead on the edge of the Exmoor National Park to the shores of Poole Harbour in Dorset. It is known to be one of the World's greatest walks and a superb way to enjoy the wonderful coastal scenery, wildlife and heritage that this area has to offer. The Bossiney and Tintagel stretch of the South West Coast Path is located within a Site of Special Scientific Interest on account of its unique slate rock formations.

The Hotel is also conveniently located for Bodmin Moor, Port Isaac, Bude, Padstow and Rock, and the many other attractions of Cornwall. This area is a walker's paradise with plenty of areas to explore, particularly along the coastal footpaths.

We offer a baggage transfer facility for guests walking the South West Coast Path, which is available for individuals and group visitors alike. Please ask at the Reception for details or call us on 01840 770240.

June 2010
We just stayed here for seven nights. Wonderfully welcoming staff, Angus, the Deerhound, is a gem but isn't pushy. If you want to stroke him or cuddle him he's happy to oblige but doesn't generally approach guests without invitation. Food was EXCELLENT and plentiful, breakfast was fabulous every morning and the carvery on Sundays is to die for! Free wifi and ample free parking, an excellent choice.
