Rock is a village in North Cornwall on the north-eastern bank of the River Camel.
Opposite Rock and a short ferry ride away is the harbour town of Padstow. Rock is a well-heeled holiday haunt and popular water-sports centre. Enjoy your days Sailing, windsurfing, water-sking or canoeing in the sheltered waters of Daymer Bay, or alternately take it easy reading, fishing, bird watching or just relaxing in the sand dunes.
Rock is said to have got its unusual name from the local quarry that once provided ballast for ships sailing from Padstow harbour on the opposite side of the Camel Estuary.
Rock is a fantastic place to sit, enjoy a drink and watch the world go by.
