Golf Courses
The Tintagel area is well known for its wide range of excellent golf courses to suit all abilities, including the internationally reknown courses at St Enodoc and St Mellion. The Bossiney House Hotel is in the centre of about six golf courses, some of whom participate in a reduced fees scheme for our guests.
St Enodoc Golf Course, Wadebridge
"St Enodoc has one of the finest links golf courses in the South West of England with everything you would expect from a James Braid design; undulating fairways, firm greens, some blind shots and all with the added bonus of some of the greatest sea and estuary views on any course in the world.
With its hilly terrain no two holes are the same; it may not be long by today's standards but it is tight with punishing rough and so requires courage and accuracy to cope with some of the problems posed."
St Mellion Golf Course, Saltash
St Mellion has two championship golf courses, and has hosted the Benson & Hedges International on six occasions.
