Bossiney Beach is a picturesque surfing beach which links with Benoath Cove when the tide is out providing a long stretch of golden sand. Its golden sands are amazing and this beach is best visited at low tide to make full use of the large expanse of beach. The beaches are clean and ideal for surfers and families alike.
The Bossiney House Hotel is situated above Bossiney Beach and Benoath Cove on the stunning cliffs of Bossiney which can been seen from the beach. It has views over what is considered to be one of the most romantic stretches of an impressive Cornish coastline looking out to the Pacific Ocean. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty and much of the coastline is preserved by the National Trust.
The clifftop area around the Bossiney House Hotel has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest on account of the incredible slate rock formations which are believed to have been created as long as three hundred and fifty million years ago. |
| Situated two and a half miles south of Tintagel, this is a glorious sandy beach which is completely covered at high tide. The golden sands stretch for almost a mile at low tide. The beach is at the bottom of a valley and its beauty is enhanced by Gull Rock which sits about a quarter of a mile off the shore. The beach can be accessed by walking along the South West Coastal Path from the Hotel, or by car although in the summer months parking can become limited as this is a popular beach. |
| A large sandy beach that becomes more exposed as the tide drops giving way to amazing rock formations. The beach is popular with the surfing schools as it has relatively gentle, easy to ride waves. |
Best visited at low tide when a large expanse of flat sand is revealed. Parking is possible on the beach itself. This is a good area for many types of coastal bird including puffins, and dolphins can be seen occasionally.

This is a good bathing, surfing and windsurfing beach, ideal for families. The rock pools are ideal for young children.
